How it started...and more about it
Mac's Party at the Lake
OK- so back in '98 after burning in on a jump and busting up my legs I
get out of the Army and I end up back in New York. My college
roommate Corey lives in Boston..so of course once I am back in the
Northeast we decide the only thing to do is to start throwing an annual
kick ass party. That became "Mac's Party at the Lake" and we made
shirts, drank lots of bourbon and much merriment was had for several
years.

WTF am I gonna do now?
Well Corey gets married as normal people do (he gets married..I get
divorced ..very "ying and yang!") and his son ends up being born in
'03 the week we normally have the party. So obviously no party that
year! Still I am pretty much WTF am I gonna do now? So
"Macapalooza" was born!!! Why not have a Pig Roast in my
backyard?! I made shirts, Mixed CDs as door prizes and it was a
generally a hit.

Macapalooza takes on a life of its own
There have been 2 more Macapalooza's since that one and each one
has grown. "M2" (Don't call it a comeback!) had the addition of the
Jonathan Newell Band, as well seeing several people coming in from
out of town etc...Macapalooza 3 added a 2nd band (Jeff Strange), a
"King and Queen of Macapalooza"and a DVD! So stay tuned!
